The Following works entailed. The reworking of the above motorcycle in both form and function. An alternative swingarm has been used , shortening the wheelbase by 3”. The rake angle is decreased by 3 degrees and overall weight has been reduced by 100 lb.

The original plodding California has been turned into a sleek, nimble cafe racer.

Fabricate gear box stays.

Reposition Battery – utilise centre stand brackets.

Rework subframe. Fit tailpiece, mudguard, shock top mounts and seat.
Rework mainframe. Fit petrol tank and electrical components under tank.

 

Petrol tank mounts, steady and top bosses.

Rework top bottom yokes, headlight brackets, fork brace, footrest hangers, rear master cylinder position.
