Norton Commando Specification:
Design: Jerry Hutchinson, Malarkey Engineering. The design inspiration was a mid 1970s Norton Commano Roadster.Design cues carried through to the 21st Century Commando include the tank, side panels, peashooter silencers, Z-plates for footrest mounting, seat knobs and the motor and transmission.
Frame: Metal Malarkey Engineering one off CDS steel bronze welded frame. Metisse Mk3 inspired.
Swingarm: Metal Malarkey Engineering, oval section, internal adjusters.
Hubs: Talon front and rear (inc' cush drive)
Rims: Morad - Front 3.6 X 18, Rear 5 X 18 flanged.
Tyres: Bridgestone Battlax T30

Engine: Built by Mick Hemmings. Commando Mk2A. 270 degree let crankshaft and custom cam with Peter Williams PW3profile. 920cc barrel and pistons from Steve Maney. 9.5:1compression ratio. Stage 1 Steve Maney cylinder head upgrade with larger inlet valves. Trispark ignition. Primary belt drive and Mk3 5 speed gear box built and supplied by Mick Hemmings. Colorado Norton Works hydraulic clutch actuator with Brembo radial master cylinder.
Electrical: Moto Gadget M unit and keyless ignition, switches, Smiths Digital speedo and tacho. LED indicators (Oberon), stop/tail and warning lights. Lithium Ion battery. Lucas style front and rear lights. Stebel magnum horn. Wiring products.
Exhausts: Metal Malarkey Engineering St/St TT style downpipes St/St pea shooter style silencers.
Rearsets: Barleycorn. Metal Malarkey Engineering 'Z' plates
Handlebars: Tarozzi adjustable.
